On 1st February 2023, the Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers, Lagos Chapter will witness the exchange of leadership baton between the outgoing Engr. Mrs. Abiola Kosegbe and incoming, Engr. Yusuf Majolagbe.
The event is billed to hold on February 1st 2023 at the Radisson Blu, GRA Ikeja and commenced at 11 am.
The event whose theme is: “Circular Economy Pathway for Lagos State,” is expected to host Mr Ademola Ogunbanjo, Executive Vice President, Oando Clean Energy Limited and Dr Olajide Abiodun Babatunde, Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on e-GIS and Planning matters as speakers. His Excellency, Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Engr Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamza are the Distinguished Guests of Honour.
The event will be chaired by the National Chairman of the institution, Engr Sesan Moses Odukoya is expected to have in attendance, the Honourable Commissioner, Lagos State Ministry for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Tunji Bello, Honourable Commissioner, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture, Ms Abisola Olusanya, as Special Guest of Honour.
Also expected, HRM Oba Dr Adeyanju Akanni Wasiu Olu-Owode Onitetiku Otta who is the Director-General/Executive Secretary of HRM Heritage Forum and host of other distinguished engineers and environmentalists.
The Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE) officially inaugurated and incorporated under Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) since the year 1995 is a Division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) which constitute of Professional Engineers from all disciplines in Engineering who are passionate about a sustainable environment.
