The Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria, APWEN, has called for the submission of original and unpublished full papers for presentation at its 2026 International Conference, Exhibition and Annual General Meeting.
The conference, which is open to engineers, researchers, academics, industry professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers and postgraduate students, is scheduled to hold from 21st to 25th September, 2026, at the Chida Event Centre, Utako, Abuja.
This year’s edition is themed “Designing Adaptive Systems: Engineering Energy, Building Net Zero, Delivering Tomorrow’s Infrastructure,” reflecting the growing global and national push toward sustainable energy systems and net zero targets, as well as the need for infrastructure that can adapt to changing environmental and economic realities.
According to APWEN, early bird registration for the conference closes on 31st July, 2026, while the deadline for full paper submissions is 18th August, 2026. Notification of acceptance to authors will be communicated on 20th August, 2026.
