Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

1. Manage product development from concept, to design, sample production, testing, launch, promotion, support, and finally product end-of-life
2. Scopeandprioritizeactivitiesbasedonbusiness and customer impact and need
3. Workcloselywiththetechnologyteamtodeliver on roadmap deadlines an drive product-launched
4. Work with stakeholders to ensure that no one is left out during feature enhancement or development
5. Work with the operations team to ensure that customers’ requests are timely attended to.
6. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the product.
7. Proper documentation of product documents and tasks.
8. Development of product roadmap.
9. Engagement and tracking of job activities of the developers.
10. Responsible for project issues management, escalation management, and change management
11. Follows up on internal and external dependencies required for project delivery to ensure timely delivery of projects

Reporting:

1. Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.

Requirements

1. MS / BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years experience in product management in a FinTech is a plus and preferable with the Agent Banking business line.
3. Track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
4. Ability to develop products and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
5. Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
