The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has commenced another round of striking off defaulting companies from the Companies Register, this time targeting no fewer than 100,000 firms, in line with Section 692(3) and (4) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), 2020.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday and signed by its Management, the Commission said the affected companies — listed under “Batch 6” — can be found on its official website, www.cac.gov.ng.
The Commission urged the affected companies to urgently regularise their records by filing all outstanding Annual Returns, along with Persons with Significant Control (PSC) and Beneficial Ownership information, within 90 days of the notice.
According to the notice, companies must submit evidence of compliance to the Commission via [email protected].
The CAC warned that any company that fails to comply within the stipulated timeline “shall be struck off the Register without further notice.”
The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to delivering prompt and efficient services to its customers.
The notice was signed by Management and dated 15 July, 2026.
