The Association of professional bodies Kano chapter of APBM in which NATE Northwest is member, paid a courtesy visit to the speaker Kano state House Of Assembly in February 22nd 2022 at his office.
An advocacy on Kano Construction Bill and need to review the development control law of the state was one of the top issues raised at the meeting. Others are:
1. Standard professional best practice
2. Enhanced revenue for the state
3. Value addition
4. Job opportunities for young professionals
Architect NIA , Quantity Surveyors QS , ICAN NMA , NIESV , NITPL , ANAN , NES , NATE , NIMLSB were well represented.
The speaker responded by assuring the body of his willingness to do the needful as well contribute more.
