The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Victoria Island Branch under the leadership of Engr Babatunde James, is set to host the 7th edition of the Engr. Babagana Mohammed FNSE Distinguished Public Annual Lecture.
The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the NSE Lagos Liaison office, 1 Engineering Close, Victoria Island, Lagos, at 10:00 AM prompt.
This year’s lecture will center on the theme, “The Role of Engineers in Combating Infrastructure Vandalism.” The theme is coming at a critical time when safeguarding public assets and vital installations remains a top priority for national development and economic stability.
According to an official statement from the NSE-VI Publicity Secretariat, the annual lecture serves as a vital platform for engineering leaders, industry professionals, and distinguished stakeholders to deliberate on impactful strategies and innovative solutions to curb asset destruction across the country.
The Bramch have extended invitation to all engineering professionals, regulatory bodies, and interested members of the public to participate in the session, which promises to offer deep insights into infrastructural security and technical oversight.
