Bootcamp: Oguntala, Abba to chart a future ready workforce for Girls in STEM

GearHub, a STEM based technology company in Collaboration with APWEN Kano Chapter, and Brainiacs STEM & Robotics is organising Virtual bootcamp for Girls in STEM. General public is hereby invited to join in the opening session on September 6, 2021 at 10am.

The event which is scheduled to hold via Google Meet has theme: “Girls in STEM Education Bootcamp”, will feature two accomplished female engineers as speakers. Engr. Margaret A. Oguntala, Member COREN Council, NSE Vice president (2014, 2015, & 2016), Chairman, NSE Ikeja Branch (2009 – 2011), who will present “Girls’ in STEM Education Bootcamp: Empowering a Future Ready Workforce.”: and Engr Zara Y. I Abba, a PhD Researcher in New Energy Investment, and STEM education Mentor & Advocate. She will present paper on “Careers in STEM – Challenges & Opportunities.”
