COVID-19: OSUN WATER RESOURCES MINISTRY, RUWESA SET UP SENSITIZATION COMMITTEE.

As part of the precautionary measures to curb the spread of Corona virus (covid-19) pandemic into the State, the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy in collaboration with State Rural water and Environment Sanitation Agency (RUWESA) has set up a sensitisation committee in order to compliment the efforts of other relevant Ministries and Agencies of the state in preventing the possible spread of Convid-19 into the state.

This is contained in a press statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Water and Energy, Engr. Ibitoye Felix Adeniran, he urged the good people of the State of Osun to take precautions through constant washing of their hands.

The statement further emphasised that people should not keep their throat dry by making sure they drink enough water always .
Engr. Ibitoye added that the committee to be led by the Honourable Commissiomer, Dr Amidu Tadese Raheem as from tomorrow (tuesday) will be visiting market places to sensitise the people of the State on general hygiene .

He advised the citizens to make sure they live in clean environment, wash their hands with good water as many times as possible as “Cleanliness is next to godliness”.
