    Job Title: Graduate Training Engineer – Mechanical Engineering (Machine Specialist)

    Location: Ogijo, Ogun

    Job Summary

    We’re seeking a talented and motivated Graduate Engineer to join our graduate training program in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Machinist Specialist.
    As a Graduate Training Engineer, you’ll work on designing, developing, and testing machine tools and components, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Design and Development: Assist in designing and developing machine tools and components, including CNC machines and precision engineering components.
    2. Machining and Fabrication: Participate in machining and fabrication of components, using CNC machines and manual machining techniques.
    3. Testing and Validation: Test and validate machine tools and components, analyzing performance data and identifying areas for improvement.
    4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of machined components.
    5. Continuous Learning: Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering and machining technology.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    2. Strong academic record and a passion for mechanical engineering.
    3. Knowledge of machining principles and practices..
    4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Work Environment:

    1. Manufacturing facility or machine shop.
    2. Opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering solutions.

    Desirable Skills:

    1. Experience with CNC programming and operation.
    2. Knowledge of precision engineering and metrology.
    3. Familiarity with lean manufacturing.
