Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operation of boilers (Both Gas Fired & Waste Heat Recovery) to ensure uninterrupted steam generation as per the plant requirements.
Monitor the boiler parameters and should be able to analyse the data recorded by the operator. Should be able to diagnose and carry out the troubleshooting of Boiler issues.
Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate logs of fuel consumption (Diesel), water treatment, and emissions.
Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares
Supervise boiler water treatment, chemical dosing, and blowdown practices.
Supervise boiler operators across shifts. Provide on-the-job training and competency development for operating staff.
Take an active role in coordinating with the Utility / Power House team in the operation of Boiler & arresting of Steam leakages
Maintenance & troubleshooting of the Water Treatment Plant.
Qualifications & Experience
Should be a graduate mechanical engineer.
Valid Boiler Operation Engineer Certificate approved by the Director of Factories, Nigeria.
Proven supervisory or shift-in-charge experience in Boiler Operation & Power Plant for at least 3 years.
