The Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN), Lagos Chapter, under the leadership of Engr Bosede Oyekunle lauded the elevation of several of its members to the prestigious rank of Fellows of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
The approval was made on September 11, 2025, at the NSE Council Meeting in Ibadan, presided over by the NSE President, Engr. Margaret A. Oguntala.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of APWENLagos, Engr. Bosede M. Oyekunle, FNSE, the chapter extended its congratulations to these “seasoned professionals” on this significant career milestone.
The fellowship is one of the highest honors awarded by the NSE, recognizing outstanding engineers who have demonstrated exemplary professionalism and made significant contributions to the engineering field.
The Newly Inducted Fellows
The newly elected fellows from APWEN Lagos and the APWEN Victoria Island Chapter are:
- Engr. Omolola Dorcas Ogungbile, Assistant Technical Secretary of APWENLagos
- Engr. Faith Adaeze Oko-Ukoni, Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE) Lagos Chapter and Past General Secretary of APWENLagos
- Engr. Mrs. Halimat Folashade Agoro
- Engr. Mrs. Oluwatoyin Banke Williams
- Engr. Ehiaghe Oyewole Caulcrick
- Engr. Isiwat Ayinke Lawal
- Engr. Mrs. Mary Adeola Olaosebikan
- In addition, Engr. Mrs. Nneamaka Grace Ekechukwu, the Vice Chairman of the APWEN Victoria Island Chapter, also received the fellowship.
