Transport Engineers and NSE Lagos Set to Host joint 2025 Public Lecture targeting Nigeria’s Transportation Infrastructure

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Lagos Branch, in collaboration with The Nigerian Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE), Lagos Chapter, is set to host its highly 2025 Public Lecture, Awards & Induction Ceremony.

The event, themed “Nigeria’s Transportation Infrastructure: Navigating Progress, Challenges, and Opportunities for Sustainable Growth,” will take place on June 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Oyebolu Engineering Resource Centre, Works & Physical Planning Department, University of Lagos, Akoka.

The lecture will feature Engr. Dr. Mudashiru Bola as the distinguished Guest Speaker, while the NSE President, Engr Margaret Oguntala is expected to chair the event. Also in attendance will be Engr. Francis Oriakhi, the National Chairman of NIHTE.

The even will be joint hosted by Engr. Olukorede Kesha, the Chairman of NSE Lagos Branch. and Engr. Olufisayo Olaitan Badmus, the Chairman of NIHTE Lagos Chapter, will also be playing a significant role in the proceedings.

This public lecture offers an opportunity for professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to examine the future of transportation in Nigeria.
