Nigachem Nigeria Limited was incorporated in 1987 as a private company with Certificate of Incorporation No. 97718. The Company Memorandum and Articles of Association and subsequent licences permit the Company to engage in Importation, marketing and sales of Commercial or Civil Explosives and related products like Ammonium Nitrate, Detonating Cord, Electric Detonators, Non-Electric Detonators (Nonel), etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – Engineering

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties

• Experience in plant/maintenance operations. He must be good in electrical and mechanical systems with electronics, instrumentations as a special focus in the manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of process equipment, Roto/Netzsch pumps, boiler and air compressors is required.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical systems, electrochemical machines, automation of the process through PLC, Hydraulic systems, and Automobile.
• Operations and maintenance of utility equipment and technical support to packaging and production (Filler, pasteurizer, conveyor, coding machine).
• Good troubleshooting skill on electrical panel and use of circuit diagram, schematic diagram and installation manual.
• Coordination of technicians and operators to comply with HACCP, Environmental, Quality, Safety and Health Standard.
• Maintenance Planning and Execution of process equipment
• Training of technician and operators on process equipment.

Requirements

1. HND or B.Sc in Engineering (Graduate Engineer in Electrical & Instrumentation would be preferred)
2. A minimum of 8 years experience, with 4 years experience in a managerial position in a manufacturing or technical environment experience is required.
3. The ideal candidate must not be less than 37 years old.

Salary
N370,000 Monthly Gross.
