Twitter chose Ghana as its Regional Headquaters!
Jack Dorsey, the CEO of the Microblogging Social Media platform, Twitter has announced that Twitter’s official headquarters in Africa will be situated in Ghana.

The news met with excitement by both parties starts a laudable partnership between Ghana and Twitter, as disclosed by the Ghanaian President himself, Akufo-Addo.

The decision was reached after a virtual meeting between both leaders on the 7th of April.

While Twitter in a statement disclosed that Ghana was the country of choice due to its recent appointment to host the secretariat of the AfCFTA, which aligns with its goals to establish presence in the region, the Ghanaian President expressed optimism at the foreign investment in Ghana’s budding technology sector.
