Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa, Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Education has said that for the Country to achieve Economic Revolution and meet up to World economic standard/practices, it requires to standardize its Technical Education.
Odemuyiwa made this known while paying a courtesy call to the Chairman and Chief Executive of Coleman Wires and Cables, Asiwaju of Remo Kingdom, Dr. Solomon Kayode Onafowokan in Sagamu, Ogun State.
He said a cross-link between Industry and Technical Institutions was the key to develop youths in industrial skills, noting that it would also encourage them to have relevant interest in entrepreneurship and contribute economically to the society.
Odemuyiwa appreciated Asiwaju ( Dr) Kayode Onafowokan for his previous numerous philanthropic gesture towards the development of Education in the State, while seeking for further collaboration with his numerous companies for the upgrading of Technical and Vocational Education, in order to make industrial sectors employable for the youths in the society.
In his address, Asiwaju (Dr) Kayode Onafowokan hailed the present administration-led by Prince Dapo Abiodun for his interest in Technical and Vocational Education, saying that he was keen in developing the standard of Technical Education in the State.
