The US Ambassador to Nigeria James F. Entwistle visited the Inspector-General of Police Suleiman Abba at the Force Headquarters, Abuja today Wednesday 20th August 2014.
Entwistle congratulated the IG on his new appointment and thanked the Nigeria Police Force for its high level of co-operation and partnership with the US Embassy in Nigeria.
He later presented the High Tech Bomb disposal robot and other equipment to the Nigeria Police Force. It is to help counter terrorism in the nation.
The ambassador reassured the IG that the US would continue to render relevant support to the force in the areas of training and security cooperation.
The US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr James Entwistle, has donated a bomb disposal robot and other equipment to the Nigerian Police and assured that his country would continue to support it in the war against insurgency in the country.
