Lagos The Foundation for Innovative Technology and Engineering for Community Development (EngCom) is empowering final year students, fresh graduates, and NYSC members to navigate their post-graduation journeys with a comprehensive three-day webinar, “What Next?”, from December 13th to 15th, 2024.

Facing uncertainty after graduation? EngCom’s “What Next?” webinar addresses the pivotal decisions facing young professionals: employment, entrepreneurship, and international study (“Japa”). This free online event provides actionable insights from successful young professionals who have navigated these pathways.

the event will be moderated by Ayobami Ogundairo and a team of dedicated volunteers both local and abroad.

  • Day 1: Employment (Friday, December 13th, 7 PM WAT): Master the art of landing your dream job with expert tips on resume building, interview techniques, and career transition strategies.
  • Day 2: Study Abroad (“Japa”) (Saturday, December 14th, 3 PM WAT): Explore international education opportunities with insights from experienced scholars and panelists. Learn about application processes, scholarships, and maximizing your global experience. Featuring speakers like Temitope Kehinde, PhD, a Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and panelists like Comfort Oladayo ADEGBENRO, PhD student at the University of Georgia, and Erasmus Mundus scholar, Olamilekan Olugbayila.
  • Day 3: Entrepreneurship (Sunday, December 15th, Time to be announced): Discover how to launch and grow your own business. Learn from successful young entrepreneurs who have turned their ideas into reality.
