Lagos State Government has announced opening of the closed sections of the Oke-koto/Agunbiade intersection in Agege Local Government for public use.
This followed the completion of flood abatement and rehabilitation of sections of the deteriorated road pavement.

A statement from the Ministry of Transportation, signed by the Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Fredrick Oladeinde, said the road, which was temporarily closed to traffic in the past two months to allow for rehabilitation, including construction of concrete pavement and widening of road exit, “has now been opened for public use.’

The government has directed relevant traffic agencies, especially Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), to ensure free flow of traffic on the axis.
