Young Engineers Forum, Jigawa and Yobe Chapter sets to collaborate on joint programmes

In what promises to be an exciting time for young engineers, the Young Engineers Forum Jigawa Chapter under the coordinator Engr Abdullahi Abdullahi Bello is set to collaborate with the Yobe chapter led by Engr Adamu Mai on join programmes. This is a part of the efforts to promote unity and professional development among the young engineers.

This was disclosed during the meeting of the two young engineering coordinators in Jigawa recently.

The visit was in recognition of Young Engineers Forum of Nigeria, YEFON’s tireless efforts in promoting sustainable community development and community Engineering. The two Chapters were able to identify critical areas where they would collaborate for the betterment of their members

In his remarks, the chairman Young Engineers Forum Yobe Chapter Engr. Mai Goni emphasized on the needs and areas for collaboration in strategic areas with its jigawa state counterpart through organizations engagements in order to achieve their goals. Some of the targeted goals are; To ensure Engineering graduates become self reliant, skill development for young engineers, Inspiring more students to study engineering discipline and support fellow young engineers, To encourage young engineers to solve problem using local content.

In response, Engr Abdullah outlined Jigawa young engineers recent activities ranging from career guidance conducted in secondary schools across the state, attachment of engineering graduates to some relevant engineering projects across the state to sponsoring over 20 students/graduates to attend Nigerian society of Engineers Annual General meeting and COREN assembly and many more.

The two chapters agreed to form collaborations and work together as team in support of aspiration of young engineers and their career development.
