The Lions Club International District 404B1 has honoured Engr Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi as its Humanitarian Ambassador for her humanitarian works as well as selfless services to the community.
Engr. Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi who founded Touch Of Love & Lifting Hands Foundation was honored in Lagos on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the investiture of new executives of the club for the 2020/2021 Lions’ year.
In addition, the District also empowered a widow from the Foundation, Mrs. Fausat Okesola with a sewing machine to enhance her fashion business.
Owolabi Atinuke Wuraola, is a registered electrical engineer, Managing Director/CEO of Wurvicat International limited; an indigenous company for Construction, Procurement and Supplies of a wide range of Electrical distribution materials, Project Management and other related Engineering services.
Atinuke’s passion for community development and poverty alleviation programs made her founded the NGO, Touch of Love and Lifting hands foundation which provides comfort and relief for widows and senior citizens.
Over the years, since her founding Touch of Love Foundation, she has initiated many humanitarian programmes that address the needs of the aged members of the society. Her Foundation also provided shelter for them as part of the efforts at making them comfortable as well as attend to their health and basic need. In addition to this is empowering the women through various activities.
