The Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) was set up in 1969 to regulate the training and practice of the Architectural profession in all ramifications by the Architects (Registration, Etc.) Act A19 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
The ARP is a special programme designed by ARCON to clear the backlog of persons who have not been deemed eligible for their professional registrations due to the following:

1. Candidates with both B.Sc./B.Tech /B.E.S. (Arch) and M.Sc./M.Tech/M.E.D (Arch) or their equivalent degrees of unaccredited Architecture programme from Nigerian schools,
2. Candidates who graduated from Nigerian schools with unaccepted degree nomendature in Architecture.
3. Candidates with HND/PGD/M.SC/M.Tech from unaccredited programmes.
In view of the regulatory power conferred on the Coundl by the Act, applications are invited from graduates of Architecture, who fall under any of the categories stated above to be pre-qualified for their professional examinations leading to registration through the ARCON Regularisation Programme (ARP).
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application Forms can be downloaded from the ARGON website https://arconigeria.org.ng/ and all completed application forms returned to: email@example.com https://arconigeria.org.ng/ with the following:
A printout of Remita payment receipt of the application form of N2,500.00 (two Thousand Ave Hundred Naira only)
2 recent passport photographs taken against white background
Photocopies of educational certificates
WASC, WAEC, GCE, NECO or its equivalent. Statement of results are not accepted.
HND/PGD/M.Sc/M.Tech or their equivalent degrees. Statement of results are not accepted.
B.Sc./B.Tech /B.E.S. (Arch) and M.Sc./M.Tech/M.E.D (Arch) or their equivalent degrees. Statement of results are not accepted.
NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Affidavit for discrepancies in names or other particulars (if any) on certificates.
Completed application form should be scanned and forwarded to the email addresses stated above.
Please note that statement of results shall not be accepted.
All applicants must have their certificates sighted and endorsed by a member of current ARCON Council with the names clearly written on the sighted documents.
All payments should be made to the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARGON) account with the Central Bank of Nigeria after generating your RRR number for payment through Remita platform www.remita.net (you are advised to use internet explorer browser).
