Third National Colloquium to beam searchlight on Sustainable environment as critical enabler of National Development

Come December 19, 2020, experts will converge for the Third National Colloquium in Sokoto. The event which is becoming the hotbed of ideas and innovative solutions to myriads of challenges affecting the country is convened by Engr Zayyanu Tambari yabo and coordinated y Dr Abubakar kari

The theme for this year edition is “Sustainable Environment as a Critical Enabler of National Development”. The 3rd Colloquium aims to examine the role of sustainable environment as a critical enabler of National development with a view to dissecting our environmental choices of today and proffer optimal options for the future. It is a logical follow-up to the 2nd Colloquium convened on 14th December, 2019 in Sokoto, which focused on the role of energy in in national development.

stellar cast of eminent persons from diverse fields and experiences, but with wide and deep knowledge on the issues, has been assembled to dissect, deliberate and make informed submissions toward taking the discourse to another pedestal – a higher pedestal. Interestingly, the keynote speaker and the discussants have not only distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and professions, but like the convener, they are accomplished professionals and shining examples worthy of emulation by the current and future generations.

Zayyanu Tambari Yabo is a COREN registered engineer. He has over 10 years extensive national and international exposure in regulation and monitoring.

Prof. Samuel Sunday Adefila, is the Immediate Past President, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers will chair the Colloquium while Dr. Habib Nuhu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Natural Resources is the Special Guest of Honour.
