Distinguished Engineers,

I wish to express my profound gratitude for your immense support in the just concluded NSE elections in which I stood for the position of Vice President (South West).

Akin to what Barbara De Angelis once said: You never lose by loving; You always lose by holding back. I do not hold back.

Whilst congratulating everyone of my colleagues in the contest, since there are no victors, no vanquished, I know that we can only get better and go higher.

I pray for journey mercies as you travel back to your various destinations.

Thanks a million for your efforts and support.

Engr. Sunday Adekunle Makinde, FNSE, FNIEEE
Past National Chairman, The NIEEE
Past President, YEFoN

THANK YOU!

Dr Roopleen said “If you have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality.”

I would like to express my heartfelt *gratitude* for the confidence reposed in me by electing me into the Statutory Audit Committe Member of our great Society, Nigeria Society of Engineers at the just concluded Abuja 2020 NSE Election. By God’s grace, I shall contribute to the process of ensuring accountability and transparency for a viable society that we will all be proud of.

I will like to dedicate this victory to God Almighty who himself gave this VICTORY and who gives *strength* to make exploit, unto HIM, I draw my courage and VISION for the task ahead.

The Victory today is also without doubt dedicated to my very close friend of many years who we began this journey together but could not live to witness the success of today, whose life was cut short 2days ago, *Engr. Mufutau Waliu Olayemi* HOD Electrical/Electronic Engineering of DS Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic Ogun State, Executive Member of both NSE Abeokuta and NIEEE Abeokuta. Your death is indeed a colossal loss to me because we had dreams of more lands to occupy but today, you are no more and to NSE Abeokuta family. May God comfort his immediate family. This victory song would have been much more better and loudly heard if you are alive since we started this struggle together.

Let me also congratulate all the great minds that we contested together at the poll, I do not see myself as better than you, we are all winners and we should strive to contribute our quota towards the betterment of our society.
