The Nigerian Society of Engineers have revealed that the July Examination, Interview and Workshop will be conducted online following the disruption occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic.
This is contained in a memo sent by the Executive Secretary of the body, Engr Dr. Okopi Alex Momoh. Titled: “NSE ONLINE EXAMINATION, INTERVIEW AND WORKSHOP”, Dr Momoh said: “The COVID-19 pandemic has placed a lot of restrictions on physical conduct of businesses. Due to COVID 19, the Society is migrating the Physical Examination, Interview and Workshop online therefore, the April Diet examination is now purely online.”
He provided the planned schedule of activities as follows:
There will be three (3) Day Mandatory Continuing Professional Education (MCPE) Course for Prospective Corporate members which is being conducted virtually starting from Monday, 20th to 22nd July, 2020.
The part One Interview, comprising the Oral Defense of Designs and Technical Report of Candidates will be conducted virtually from Tuesday, 4th to 7th August, 2020. While the qualified candidates list will be sent to the examiners.
The submission of Interview Results through E-Mail by Examiners to the HPD. (The Result in Excel Format Only) is scheduled between Friday 7th – 10th August, 2020.
Under Part Two examinations: CBT Examination (Computer, Objectives & Use of English) will hold between Tuesday, 18th August, 2020.
For CoPEEE; A 2-Day Continuing Professional Education for Executive Prospective Engineers (CoPEEE) (To be conducted virtually. Details will be sent to qualified candidates) will hold between Monday, 27th – 28th July, 2020.
For C1 Interview (To be conducted virtually. Details will be sent to qualified candidates) will hold on Wednesday 29th July, 2020
The submission of Candidates Results and Candidates` Assessment Forms to the Headquarters by Examination Supervisors/Chief Interviewers after the Interview to PD department is expected on Thursday, 30th July – 4th August, 2020.
