The Nigerian Society of Engineers Oluyole Branch joined in marking the first world Engineering Day on March 4 with various activities, one of which career symposium at the First Technical University, Ibadan today.
Lectures were delivered by Engr. Mrs. Bimbola Dada – Head, Supply Chains and Administration, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, a woman with decades of outstanding career in power industry; Miss Fawziyah Oluwakiite Koiki – a brilliant young graduate from the University of Manchester ( MSc Renewable and Clean Technology with Distinction &BEng (Hons) Mechanical and Offshore Engineering with First class and Olumide Omotoso a young male Co-Founder/CEO Byetabs Technology Limited, Ibadan.
The lectures delivered were inspiring to the students of the First Technical University including the dignitaries who commended the presentations.
The Executive Governor of Oyo State was represented by the Deputy Chief Staff Hon. Abdul Majeed Gbonjubola.
Other Dignitaries at the event is Engr. High Chief Olalere Adigun, MD/CEO Sahara Engineering, Prof. Adekunle Akinyemi, Engr. O.A. Morakinyo FNSE, Engr. Olufemi Koya, the Dean Faculty of Engineering, the First Technical University, HODs of Electrical, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering . The Vice Chancellor was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Sola Ajayi.
