NSE VP, Adeniran Ibitoye Conferred With Award Of Honour

Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE); Engr. Prince Adeniran Felix Ibitoye KILOMODEMO (KLM), FNSE has been conferred with an Award of Honour by the Ado-Ekiti Branch of the Society.

The award ceremony which was part of the NSE Ado-Ekiti Branch Annual Dinner/Award Night was conferred on Engr. Adeniran in recognition of his contributions to the Branch and development of engineering practice in Nigeria.

The event which was held on Thursday 19th of December, 2019 at the Damlek Multipurpose Event Centre, Ado-Ekiti had in attendance the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti; Engr. Dr. D. H. Oladebeye, and Engr. Bamidele Faparusi, Ekiti State Commissioner for Infrastructure and Public Utilities.

The dinner lecture titled: Technical and Vocational Education: A Panacea For Economic And National Development was delivered by Prof. Olufemi Victor Adeoluwa; the Provost, College of Education, Ikerre-Ekiti.

Receiving the award on behalf of the NSE Vice President who is also the Special Adviser to the State of Osun Governor on Water Resources and Energy, Engr. Wale Alonge, the Osogbo Branch NSE Vice Chairman appreciated Ado-Ekiti NSE Branch for the honour and also charged all the inductees to be diligent in discharging their professional duties at their different workplaces.

The Chairman of the occasion was Engr. Prof. Gbenga Aribisala, Former Deputy Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.

He also appreciated the NSE families both in Osogbo and Ado-Ekiti for being part of his success story.

While dedicating the award to Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, the State of Osun Governor for appointing him into the state executive council, he promised to operate an open door policy and always reach out to the people because the KLM brand was about them.
