The Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, NSChE has emerged the best Division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers at the recently released NSE Annual Group Dynamics report during the ongoing National Engineering Conference in Kano.
trailing close by in second and third positions are the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers, NICE, and Nigerian Institution of Electrical Electronics Engineers, NIEEE respectively.
In Branch category, the Maitama Branch of NSE emerged as the best Branch in the country whole Ibadan and Victoria Island Branches emerged second and third respectively.
The Annual Competition was instituted by the Nigerian Society of Engineers to create health competition for performance among its over 70 Branches and nearly 30 Divisions nationwide. Their yearly activities are graded based on some professional and social contributions to the country and their community.
The NSE has Over 70 Branches across the country, each serving designated local areas where engineers are concentrated. The Divisions are however independent specialist umbrella bodies of the diverse fields of engineering with each having own National secretariat as well as state chapters.
