National Procurement summit: Call for submission of Technical Papers

The Nigerian Institution of Procurement Engineers (NIProcE) Lagos Chapter, announce it’s 2nd Procurement Summit to be held on:
Date: 2nd Nov. 2019
Venue: Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja.
Time; 1.00 pm prompt.
The theme of the Summit is tagged “The Challenges Facing The Effective Implementation of Public Procurement in Nigeria“.
Sub themes include:
i) The Challenges and Opportunities of Contractors, Suppliers and Service Providers in Public Procurement

Ii) Corruption and Anti corruption strategies in Public Procurement

iii) Performance Assessment of Public Procurement Regulatory bodies.

Deadline for Submission shall be 9th Oct. 2019. Participation Fee of =N=10,000 for participants. Corporate Advert in our Brochure is =N=50,000. Account No: 4885463010. FCMB.

The Institution hereby solicit for submission of Papers from Government Procuring Entities, Corporate Organisations, Consultants/Contractors, Professional Bodies and NGOs, for publication in its Brochure and for Presentation at the Summit.

1) The submitted papers shall address this Theme and sub themes from the perspectives of the Existing Regulatory Policies/ Frameworks, Implementation and Service Delivery experiences in Public Procurement.

2) Paper submission shall have a validity period of three (3) weeks starting from Tuesday 10th Sept – 9th Oct, 2019. All papers are expected to be submitted not later than 12. 00 noon on 09/10/19.

3) All submitted papers shall be subject to review and consideration. Only papers which satisfies the theme and sub themes, shall be considered for publication and presentation at the Summit.

4) Authors of selected papers will be communicated promptly and will be required to send in their submission in Microsoft Word soft copies, using font size 12 for publication in the Summit Brochure and also power point format for presentation at the event. Certificate of Attendance/Plaques shall be presented to Corporate bodies and participants.
