    Engr. Olusola Temitayo Obadimu, MNSE, has commenced official duties as the new Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. The outgoing Executive Secretary, Engr. Ahmed K. Amshi, FNSE at a brief ceremony which held at the National Engineering Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, 6th January, 2014 presented the handing over notes to Engr. Obadimu.
    Engr. Amshi congratulated him on assumption of Office and urged Engr. Obadimu to deploy his wealth of experience in the administration of the Secretariat with a view to upholding the ideals of the Society.
    Engr. Amshi thanked the Council and entire membership for the opportunity given him to serve the Society in the capacity of the Executive Secretary since 2008 – 2014. While also thanking the management and staff for the cooperation which enabled him to succeed while in Office, he urged the staff to extend the same cooperation to the new Executive Secretary.  
    Engr. Obadimu, in response, eulogized Engr. Amshi’s top quality administrative endowment which several Members have attested to in the course of his interaction with them. He solicited his kind positive response at all times whenever he reaches out to him for advice on crucial matters.
