Engr John Edo Audu currently works for Chevron Nigeria Limited as Manager, Gas Facilities Engineering and Major Capital Projects Relations. He is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and also University of Benin, Benin City, (PGD, Computer Science and M. Eng Structural Engineering)) and University of Nigeria Nzukka where he had Masters Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, University of Liverpool, UK.( Masters in Internet Systems, Computer Science).
He has worked with organisations in both public and private sector since starting is career as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, DFRRI with Local Government during his National Youth Service. He worked as civil engineer with the Federal Ministry of Work & Housing and later as freelance civil engineer with various firms such as Delcon, Zinkon and Temile & Sons. He later becomes Team Leader (on Contract) with Estate Services, Shell Petroleum Dev. Company before joining Chevron (Chevron Nigeria Limited, Escravos Terminal.) in 2001 as Construction/Planning Engineer (on Contract). In 2005 he joined Shell Nigeria Petroleum Development Company as Civil Engineer in full time capacity before returning to Chevron Nigeria Limited in full time capacity as facility Engineer in 2008 and rose from the rank to this current position.
Engr Audu is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He has attended several technical and leadership courses in Nigeria and overseas including a Mini MBA and the prestigious AZTECH Essentials of Leadership course both in Houston, Texas.
His passion for the advancement of the practice of engineering in Nigeria is well known to close associates and friends; only outweighed by his insatiable appetite for the acquisition of knowledge, which is evident from having been a life-long student.
